About Biblesoft
Since its founding in 1988 as a developer and publisher of Bible study software for the personal
computer, Biblesoft has been the market leader in product innovation and function.
BIBLESOFT's vision is to develop and make available to every Christian believer the most powerful, authoritative and
easiest-to-use Bible-centric, computer-based tools, resources and materials that will enable them to grow deeper in both their relationship with God and their knowledge of His Word.
This simple mission was planted in owner Jim Gilbertson's heart years ago. He was a programmer for Boeing, when he
began to work on a personal program to help him study his Bible. Upon completing this project, he shared it with friends who encouraged him to do more with it. He then talked with Steve Adams of Evangel
Bookstore in Bellevue, WA who gave him confidence that bookstores would be interested in marketing Bible software.
After 23 years with Boeing, Jim retired to start his new company, Biblesoft. He went through
the normal trials to make it happen. When his savings were almost dried up, two important events happened: Steve Nordholm helped him create a national mailing campaign that produced over 3,000 purchasers of PC Study Bible in a very short time, and Warren Bailey helped him set up retail distribution for the product with Christian Bookstores.
Soon, a partnership between Christian Bookstores and Biblesoft developed that is still going strong today. Biblesoft remains committed to maintaining market leadership through innovative product development
and strategic distribution. As result, we are seeing tremendous growth and increased sales for the entire Biblesoft product line. Today, Biblesoft products are distributed throughout the United States and
around the world, through Christian bookstores and software retailers alike.

fact, our latest product, PC Study Bible Version 4, featuring the powerful Biblesoft Authoring System™, showcases unique
technology that opens entirely new opportunities to individuals, ministries, and publishers. It enables users to produce their own Bible study materials that automatically integrate with their PC Study Bible library, as well as exchange those materials online at Biblesoft Exchange with other PC Study Bible users.
