Dr. Curtis Wallace has more than 40 years of pastoral experience, 24 in the Air Force Chaplaincy. He served in a summer missionary program in 1970 and 71, then in the US Army as a Chaplain Assistant stationed at Fort Knox, KY from 1973 to 1976, and pastored in Missouri and Montana from 1976 until 1983. He entered the US Air Force Chaplaincy in 1983 and retired in 2003 to work with adjudicated youth at a detention facility until 2005, and again entered the pastoral ministry, serving until this year.
Curtis received his Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Grand Canyon University in 1973 and a Master of Religious Education and Master of Divinity degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri in 1979. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1988.
As an avid student of God’s Word, Curtis has used PC Study Bible and Biblesoft add-on products for the past several years as a pastor, and now as regional representative for Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
Curtis is an active outdoors person and has organized many backpacking retreats over the years as well as a wide variety of retreats in various parts of the world ranging from couples communication seminars and retreats to Photo Safaris to various National Parks. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, bicycling, and is an avid outdoor photographer. Curtis has been teaching an adult Sunday School classes for many years and currently leads a weekly Bible study. PC Study Bible has been the foundation of his research and class preparation.
